About
ABOUT THIS GUIDE
An independent fan guide to Rat Game by Sokpop Collective. Here's how it's researched, what counts as a source, and how it stays honest before and after launch.
01
What this site is
Rat Game Guide is an independent fan project — not affiliated with Steam, Valve, or Sokpop Collective. It exists because a single game can have a hundred questions and no single place with straight answers. This site collects everything known about Rat Game — mechanics, controls, map notes, news — into one dated, sourced hub.
Pre-launch focus
Until , the guide documents confirmed mechanics and clearly labels everything else as inferred, rumoured or unconfirmed.
Post-launch depth
After release the guide fills in: real maps, real numbers, real tactics — with every section dated so readers know what changed.

Where the facts come from
-
Steam store page — official description, tags, release date and system requirements: store.steampowered.com/app/3347910.
-
Official screenshots & footage — controls, HUD values, task lists and floor-plan room names are read directly from official material, marked as pre-release.
-
Media previews — e.g. the indiegame.com hands-on preview () covering the asymmetric core, the gun, Robo-Chef and the rat respawn question.
-
Developer announcements — Sokpop Collective's official posts, trailers and community announcements.
03
Verification & update policy
-
Every claim is tagged. "Confirmed" means it comes from official material; "inferred" and "rumour" are marked as such. Nothing is dressed up as fact when it isn't.
-
Pages are dated. Each page carries a "Last updated" date and the news timeline records when each fact landed, so stale claims are easy to spot.
-
Corrections land fast. If official material contradicts a claim, the page is updated and the change shows in the timeline. Pre-release numbers (controls, HUD, map names) may change by launch.
Questions or corrections? The maintainer can be reached through the project notes in the repository README. This is a fan project — feedback about accuracy is always welcome.
