Map Guide
THE RESTAURANT
One interconnected floor plan, front of house to back alley. The chef patrols it; the rats crawl through it. Know the rooms, and you know where the night goes wrong.
Entrance
The front door — arrival and escape routes likely pass through here. First place a chef will glance.
Seen on floor planHearth
Central warming spot; candle-lit rooms in the screenshots suggest this is where the ambience lives.
Seen on floor planRestaurant
The dining floor — tables, red placemats, hiding spots between every one of them.
Seen on floor planKitchen
The chef's home ground. Wires, burners and pans — prime sabotage targets if the rats can reach it.
Seen on floor planOffice
Small back room — paperwork, maybe locks or lights the rats can quietly kill.
Seen on floor planBar
Front-of-house counter. A tall space where hiding low beats running fast.
Seen on floor planToilet
A tight, isolated room — classic place to hide while the pack works elsewhere.
Seen on floor planNest
The rats' home turf on the map — likely a spawn or regrouping point.
Seen on floor planCage
A locked room on the plan — the chef's stash for caught rats, if the training HUD's "rats caged" count is anything to go by.
Seen on floor planStorage
Back-end clutter: crates, shelving, low light. Ideal for ambushes and last-second escapes.

Map Mechanics
Interconnected
Rooms link through the plan, not a straight hallway run — the map rewards knowing shortcuts between zones. A "vast human-scale map" per the official pitch.
Hidden passages
Rats move through the walls and vents the chef can't enter. The swarm's mobility advantage lives here.
Sound & range
Proximity chat ties to distance: chatter carries across open rooms but fades through walls. Position decides what the chef hears.
The cheese vault
Rumoured on the official announcement: a hidden cheese vault somewhere in the restaurant. The prize for the pack that finds it first.
Unconfirmed rumour
Coming after launch: full zone-by-zone walkthrough, vent and passage locations, chef patrol route overlays and per-room callout names.
